What We Believe

Concerning the whole of the Westminster Confession of Faith, as a summary of the Word of God:

1. The Bible as the Written Word of God.

The Bible is the written Word of God; contained are all the 66 books of the Old & New Testaments, given by the inspiration of God, completely sufficient and necessary unto salvation, having authority to be believed and depended upon alone as the truth of God. Scripture is the Supreme Judge, by which all religion and doctrine are to be examined.

What To Expect

A casual, friendly atmosphere with worshipful music and relevant Biblical teaching. Between 10 and 20 people typically attend each Sunday morning. Attire ranges from work clothing and jeans to nice mountain casual. You will be comfortable whatever you wear.

A service will start with greetings and announcements, followed by a prayer and a short scripture reading. Worship through music and singing comes next, with words projected on televisions at the front, followed by a time for prayer requests and congregational prayer.

A brief interlude while members give contributions and we sing a praise song, then it is time for the Pastor to deliver a message that is rooted in scripture. At the end of the sermon, we sing a thought-provoking closing song and end with a prayer or blessing as a benediction. The average service ends about 11:15 a.m. On the first Sunday of each month we usually celebrate communion for believers, and most third Sundays are for fellowship meals, pot-luck style, after the service. Please stay and eat and fellowship with us, there is always plenty.
